HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOUR WORK?

I would describe it as a retro colorful geometric bonanza, full of simplicity and mathematical in its essence.

WHAT DOES YOUR ART FOCUS ON?

It focuses mainly on surrealism and beauty. I like things that seem out of place, things that don't belong together. I've always been obsessed with images since I was a little kid, always had this weird scenery and colors that I think I'm finally putting out there.

WHAT TRIGGERS YOUR IMAGINATION?

I'm an avid art lover. Surrealism, cubism, dadaism, futurism, I study a lot from them, they are the best source of inspiration. Movies and fashion are huge for me, but the main things are random thoughts that pop in my mind, like memories of dreams and things that I used to imagine when I was a kid.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

Medellín, Colombia.

WHEN DID YOU JOIN INSTAGARM? (MONTH AND YEAR)
June 2012.

HOW DID IT MAKE YOUR WORK EVOLVE?

Well, it started when some friends talked me into uploading my work on Instagram. Until then I was only using it for personal stuff, it was at the end of 2013 that I decided to put my work out there and I have to say it was one of the best decisions that I've made. People responded very well to what I was doing, so that keeps me motivated to continue and explore new styles and also meet a lot of fantastic artists and designers who inspire me everyday. I have to say that I owe Instagram a great deal of what I am now as an artist.

WHO ARE THE PEOPLE YOU WORK WITH?

I work mainly with clothing brands and magazines, but I'm really open to any good opportunity.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU POST?

I try to post at least once a week.

WHAT ACCOUNT DO YOU FOLLOW RELIGIOUSLY?
I would say Vasava, Pogo creative, Hugo and Marie, ilovedust, offfest... let's say I religiously follow a bunch of them!

WHAT IS YOUR MOST LIKED ARTWORK/ PHOTO?
The egg animation that I did for "cósmica y sus huevos", people really enjoy it.

WHAT ARE YOUR LATEST PROJECTS OR COLLABORATIONS?
Right now I'm working with a German photographer on a mix of still images and animation. I'm also starting some tennis related editorial and animation. So stay tuned.
