HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOUR WORK?

My work is something strange. In practice I drawwith my finger on my smartphone and I createillustrations. Usually in my compositions there are a lot of cars, and I still don’t know why. For sure all of this is incredibly funny, I hope for all.

WHAT DOES YOUR ART FOCUS ON?

Usually my art is focused on everything that can move my mind, my feelings, my ideas and craziness. So it could be everything. But usually I like to represent something grotesque, ironic and iconic at the same time: these topics are really interesting and I like people's reactions after seeing my pics.

WHAT TRIGGERS YOUR IMAGINATION?

Strange, curious, grotesque, funny and colored things really moves my mind.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

I’m based in Milan, but I came from Siracusa, in Sicily.

WHEN DID YOU JOIN INSTAGRAM?

Three years ago, in March 2012, I created myprofile, just to play.

HOW DID IT MAKE YOUR WORK EVOLVE?

My profile is full of cars and illustrations, so my firstworks were with car brand like BMW, VW and Fiat, then I started collaborating with other brands like Haribo, Belvedere Vodka, Burn energy, MicrosoftLumia... Now I’m working for Netflix Italy

WHO ARE THE PEOPLE YOU WORK WITH?

I’ve worked with The Haas Brothers on some collage work. They are great friends and such an incredible inspiration. They have invited me to have a show of my work in their studio, which is

amazing! I’ve worked with bands, mainly for album covers. I most recently made a digital download cover for the French pop song Le Soleil by Maud.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU POST?

Last year I used to post religously, but now I have a lot of work so I publish once a week.

WHAT ACCOUNTS DO YOU FOLLOW RELIGIOUSLY?

One of the best profiles that I follow is one madeby one of my dearest friend Benedetto Demaio (@benedettodemaio), check it out, it is such a dream. I also follow @dancali that offers me a lot of ideas to create illustrations on cool cars. In the end I really love @malikafavre works: a genius.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST LIKED ARTWORK/ PHOTO?

It's a pic that I published over a year ago, a square yellow car, vintage car, under a big and square tree on a monotone landscape colored in green water. It reached 2,700 likes.

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO?

I usually listen to every kind of music, especially new styles and sounds like Apparat, Thyco and Bonobo. They are so avant-garde in music. But in reality rock and everything similar are my love. In particular my favorite band is Foo Fighters, they remind me a lot of a beautiful time in my life.

WHAT ARE YOUR LATEST PROJECTS OR COLLABORATIONS?

Now I’m working for Netflix Italy and I have a reallybig project with Ford USA.
