FASHIONABLEFELLAS - PSEUDO FASHION
PSEUDO FASHION
HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOUR WORK?
I describe my work as an attempt to show people that fashion is art. A big part of our society still sees fashion as something futile, obnoxious and irrelevant! My goal is to help change this reality.
WHAT DO YOUR COLLAGES FOCUS ON?
I love things that make others uncomfortable. As I say on my profile, art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable. At the same time, I love to give people support. It is amazing when I see people commenting, I described exactly what they were feeling.
WHAT TRIGGERS YOUR IMAGINATION?
Things I believe people misinterpret. I feel like my mind has such a beautiful way to look at things and I would love to inspire others to do the same.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
Rio de Janeiro.
WHEN DID YOU JOIN INSTAGRAM?
HOW DID IT MAKE YOUR WORK EVOLVE?
It is hard because Instagram is full of amazing pages. You need to have something unique to stand out. I started connecting with my "fashion idols" and was lucky to get feedback and support from some of them. I’m honored to have such amazing followers.
WHO ARE THE PEOPLE YOU WORKED WITH?
I had the opportunity to work with several stylists, photographers and some magazines but I felt it wasn’t right. I am very critical when it comes to my work so it is hard to "change" my vision in order to do something. Plastik gave me liberty and that is something I truly appreciate.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU POST?
Not a lot. It might look easy but I go through thousands of photos in order to find something I love. I am my own worst critic. I only post something I am 100% sure I will be proud of.
WHAT ACCOUNT DO YOU FOLLOW RELIGIOUSLY?
@instagodministries - I’m a good Christian!
WHAT IS YOUR MOST LIKED ARTWORK/ PHOTO?
A recent collage featuring Kate Moss.
WHAT ARE YOUR LATEST OR FUTURE PROJECTS/ COLLABORATIONS?
My latest project is a new page called @artencao or in english, ARTtention. I love all types of art and in this page I will display artworks I find interesting and believe people should pay more attention to. In the future, I hope to launch a website where I can combine my work and others who inspire me – a platform where we can talk about art with no discrimination.
