An eclectic mix of the expressive, subversive and provocative within high fashion, gender play and big, big hair.

Trashy movies, music, people watching: the power dressers, man-eaters and painters (faces).

June 2012.

HOW DID IT MAKE YOUR WORK EVOLVE?

My account was generic Instagram matter (hot beverages, cats, selfies and the odd bit of work) until March 2013 when I posted fan art of Amanda Lepore closely followed by Raven - thanks to them the account began to flourish and I garnered a collection of followers that wanted to see more.

My work has evolved quite a lot since - I'm a perfectionist and my own worst critic at the same time. Subsequently, the likes of Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Iggy Azalea, Will.i.am, Detox, Alyssa Edwards (among many of the RPDR alumni) Mathu Andersen, Marco Marco and Francois Sagat have really helped to share my work, which created a snowball of exposure and opportunity. Unexpected outcomes from the spread of my work are the amount of tattoos I get sent pictures of/tagged in - I find it a huge compliment that someone would enjoy my work enough to choose it as the basis of a permanent embellishment on their skin.

WHO ARE THE PEOPLE YOU WORKED WITH?

Willam Belli, Jodie Harsh, M·A·C Cosmetics, Slick It Up, Ada + Nik, House of Grand Parade, and Sink The Pink. Looking to the future, as well as continuing to work with this fabulous array, I would love to do more in the beauty and cosmetics industry, as well as pursuing avenues of making my work wearable. As detached as it may sound I have also wanted to do a comic book cover since forever.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST LIKED ARTWORK/ PHOTO?
It's a close call between my take on Marge Simpson after The Simpsons x MAC collaboration announcement and Adore Delano upon reaching RPDR 6 Top 3.

WHAT ARE YOUR LATEST OR FUTURE PROJECTS/ COLLABORATIONS?
Most recently I have collaborated with Slick It Up NY for the Luchador print, which was an absolutely fantastic opportunity for me to dip into menswear and I look forward to more collaborations with the guys.
