STEVEN POPOVICH

When I was a kid, all I would do was draw and collect pictures. And most of the time I would draw the pictures I collected. As a teenager, I had big interests in graphic design and illustration. It wasn’t until university, where I did illustration, design and photography in my first year, that I discovered photography. I received high distinctions in all subjects but decided that I wouldn’t spend the next four years doing something I knew, but rather something I knew little about, but loved as much. So,I majored in photo media and sub-majored in design.

SANDRO GIORDANO

IN HIS SERIES "BODIES WITH NO REGRET" ITALIAN PHOTOGRAPHER SANDRO GIORDANO PORTRAYS A WIDE RANGE OF CHARACTERS GOING DOWN HEAD FIRST. SOME OF THE FALLS SEEM TRULY TERRIBLE AND PAINFUL, FATAL EVEN, AND YET THE VIEWER WILL STRUGGLE NOT TO SMILE. GIORDANO’S ORCHESTRATED CHOREOGRAPHIES PAY GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL. CLOTHES AND PROPS HINT AT THE CHARACTER’S ROLE IN SOCIETY BEFORE HIS OR HER FALL FROM GRACE. A FARMER’S DAUGHTER, A RELIGIOUS WOMAN, A BOXER OR A MAN IN A KINKY LEATHER OUTFIT: A SUDDEN FALL CAN HAPPEN TO US ALL ...

FINNANOFENNO - A COLORFUL RIDE

Usually my art is focused on everything that can move my mind, my feelings, my ideas and craziness. So it could be everything. But usually I like to represent something grotesque, ironic and iconic at the same time: these topics are really interesting and I like people's reactions after seeing my pics.

FREDDIEMADE - TWISTED REALITIES

My art focuses on my thoughts and day dreams. I create digital collages and GIF’s that twist reality into a false reality. I’m obsessed with the idea of escapism and I love that I can create a world of my own using elements from every-day life. My collages tend to either be bright and bold in color or heavily black; it’s rare that I create work that looks photographic.

VENUSMANSION - PINK DREAMS

Emotions, objects, and colors. These are primary focuses of Venus Mansion but my art also expresses who I am. To be frank, Venus Mansion does not have a set of messages it wants to convey through art. As I mentioned before, it is the means for me to express myself and I would like my audiences to form their own opinions and draw a positive influence on creative activities.

ELEANORMACNAIR - THE PLAY-DOHOGRAPHER

I remake iconic alongside less well-known photographs in play-doh. One of the aims of the project is to lead people to discover new and potentially overlooked photography and photographers and show the diversity of photography over the past 150 years.

THETAABLE - OUT OF THE ORDINARY

Our art mainly focuses on the remarkably ordinary things in life that one would presumably often overlook, we take this phenomena and strive to look at it from a different light and giving it the attention it needs. By incorporating simple everyday materials, one can easily relate to the familiarity and interpret the piece in their own way, hence appreciating the little things that go unnoticed.

FASHIONABLEFELLAS - PSEUDO FASHION

I love things that make others uncomfortable. As I say on my profile, art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable. At the same time, I love to give people support. It is amazing when I see people commenting, I described exactly what they were feeling.

ESTEESDAVE - THE SWEETEST TABOOS

I would describe my work as my slogan "outing of line" (saliendome de la raya) with eroticism, humor and unconventional behavior - leaving behind taboos we had since we were kids. I’ve always thought to myself, “why not color outside the lines?”

JSHMCK - THE FINER THINGS IN LIFE

This depends on whether I am working for a commission or doing personal work. Generally I focus my work on people having fun. My work is colorful and playful and the characters I use are the same - leisurely characters, sassy ladies up to no good, or people enjoying a glass of wine.

BORN IN A TINY VILLAGE IN THE SOUTHWEST OF FRANCE, NICO THERIN FOLLOWED HIS HEART TO BE WITH HIS BELOVED MEL IN CALIFORNIA’S CITY OF ANGELS. THEJOHNNYSMITH - SURFING THROUGH THE PSYCHE

The themes of my collages vary, but the main focus of my art is surrealism and juxtaposition. I like to grab an image I find and completely warp it, redesigning the look and context behind it. Comedy through image is also a theme I strive for. I love to laugh and inspire others to do the same. I’ve said it before and I will say it always: laughter lines are sexier than any six pack. The deeper those lines, the bigger the swoon.

NCOUR - BAROQUE-N DREAMS

I use imagery from the public domain with an emphasis on art historical imagery to create a contemporary narrative or dialogue. I try to explore ideas that the images don’t convey on their own. With each image I try to have the sum of all the parts create something unique.
